snek & wood block
Two small games, one experiment: built entirely on a phone, with no laptop around, to find out how far vibe coding gets you. Snek is Snake in one HTML file. Wood block is a drag-and-drop puzzle with sound and offline play.

- Stack
- Snek: canvas, vanilla JS, one HTML file.
Wood block: React, Vite, Web Audio, installable PWA. - Status
- Live. Both installable on a phone and playable offline.
- Experiment
- Phone only. Built with no laptop, to find out how far vibe coding gets you.

Wood block: actually playable offline
The first service worker only cached the shell. Now the whole game loads and plays with no connection.
Wood block: wood chips and screen shake
A juice pass: chips fly when a line clears, the board shakes on big clears, and a danger vignette appears when it fills up. A near-miss pulse on the gaps went in and came straight back out.
Wood block: hands that can always be placed
New games start with a light scatter of pieces, every dealt hand is guaranteed to fit somewhere, draws lean toward smaller shapes, and there are three rerolls per game.
Snek: bigger D-pad, buffered turns
Turns are now buffered so a quick input is not lost between ticks, and the on-screen D-pad got bigger.
Wood block: first version, same day
React and Vite, deployed to GitHub Pages the day it was written. Best score per difficulty, with 7×7, 9×9 and 11×11 boards.
Snek: notes for the next session
A CLAUDE.md that explains the game loop, state and input handling, so the next Claude Code session starts with the map instead of rereading the file.
Snek: first version, same day
One HTML file with the game, power-ups, sound and combo scoring on the day the repo was created. Cursed controls, a bonus star and the Android install fix followed the same day.
